Whatever You Are Facing, Help Is Available

When Physical and Emotional Health Overlap

Mental health and physical health are closely linked. A medical illness can bring anxiety or depression, and emotional stress can show up as physical symptoms. Dr. Levine has extensive experience in this area, having directed psychiatric consultation and liaison services at Children’s Hospital Colorado and teaching on topics such as conversion and somatoform disorders.

Frequently Asked Questions

Still wondering about something? Give us a call. Questions are always welcome.
What if I am not sure what is wrong?

That is completely okay. A comprehensive evaluation is designed to help sort out what is going on and what would help most.

Do you treat children as well as adults?

Yes. Dr. Levine is board-certified in both adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.

Will treatment involve medication?

Not always. When medication is recommended, Dr. Levine aims for the most conservative use that provides meaningful relief.

Do you provide therapy?

Dr. Levine focuses on psychiatric evaluation and treatment, and he refers to trusted psychologists and therapists where appropriate.

Do you accept insurance?

We do not accept or bill insurance. Each month you receive an insurance-ready statement you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement. Current rates are on our Policies page.

What if this is an emergency?

If you or someone you love is in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. You can also call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, at any time.
